HPD changes aim for efficiency in patrol districts

~~<p>All patrol districts of the Hono&shy;lulu Police Department are now reporting to a single assistant chief following a reorganization that was approved by Police Chief Louis Kea&shy;loha.</p>
<p>The changes, which took effect Jan. 1, follow the retirement of Assistant Chief Bart Huber, who left at the end of 2012 after 29 years on the force, HPD spokes&shy;woman Michelle Yu said.</p>
