Importing illegal fireworks brings man 4-year sentence

~~<p>A federal judge sentenced a 28-year-old former bank teller to four years in prison Thursday for importing 278 cases of commercial aerial fireworks without a license, lying on shipping documents for a container load of more fireworks and depositing $1.1 million into his bank account in increments of less than $10,000 to evade reporting requirements.</p>
<p>The $1.1 million resulted from sales of the fireworks and from gambling proceeds, according to the prosecution.</p>
