Bill's Gamblin' Hall closes for renovation, re-branding

~~<p>Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon, located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, closed earlier this month. The casino will undergo a $180 million renovation and transformation into a "boutique resort," featuring a rooftop pool and a new night-life attraction overlooking the Strip. The project will also include remodeling the casino and the resort's 198 hotel rooms. The property is due to remain shuttered until sometime in 2014, when it will re-emerge with its new look and a new name.</p>
<p>» Drai's down: As part of the Bill's closing, Drai's After Hours nightclub has also closed after 16 years of operation. The club is expected to reopen when work is complete on the casino, and there are rumors that it might surface in a temporary venue in another Caesars Entertainment property in the interim.</p>
