Occupancy at hotels on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii isle put state in good stead

~~<p>Oahu ended 2012 just shy of its prior occupancy peak, but isle hotels were fuller last year than those in most competing sun destinations, according to a Hawaii Competitive Global Rankings report released Monday by Hospitality Advisors LLC.</p>
<p>An 11 percent increase in visitor arrivals to Oahu last year helped its occupancy improve to 84.7 percent, a 4 percentage point gain from the prior year. Oahu's record occupancy is 85.3 percent, reached in 2005.</p>
