Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation board members had asked Ansaldo STS and AnsaldoBreda, the two firms that comprise Ansaldo Honolulu JV, to give them those assurances after recent heavy losses, credit downgrades and legal troubles of their parent, Finmeccanica SpA.
