~~<p>After a series of intense practices during its seven days off, Hawaii had an unusual confidence for a team 2-15.</p>
<p>&quot;There's no way we couldn't have been confident coming out tonight,&quot; junior Conner George said. &quot;Like (hitting) coach (Rusty McNamara) told us after practice (Tuesday), (we're) the most prepared 2-15 team in the nation and we felt good coming into tonight.&quot;</p>
