~~<p>University of Hawaii athletic director Ben Jay said he has been contacted by an attorney for Gib Arnold to discuss a possible extension of the head basketball coach’s contract.</p>
<p>Arnold, who concluded his third season with a 69-65 CollegeInsider.com Tournament loss to the Air Force Academy on Wednesday, finished 17-15 (10-8 in the Big West Conference) and will go into the final season of his current three-year deal July 1.</p>
