City must strike the right balance of revenue and services

~~<p>Running the city is not much different from running your household or business. Expenses continue to rise; rarely do they go down. If you want to maintain or improve your home or business, you need to find the resources. If you don't have all the resources you need, you have two choices: tighten your belt and work hard to make more money.</p>
<p>This is exactly what we are doing at the city because the public pays property taxes and expects a level of service that makes their lives better.</p>
