Council sets meeting to weigh bill veto

~~<p>The Kauai County Council will meet Thursday to consider overriding Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr.'s veto of Bill 2491, which creates disclosure requirements for large-scale pesticide use and the farming of genetically modified crops and establishes other restrictions.</p>
<p>The bill will become a county ordinance if five of the Council's six members vote to override. (The departure of Councilwoman Nadine Naka&shy;mura to become managing director on Nov. 1 leaves a vacancy on the seven-member Council.)</p>
