Courtroom will become next venue in fight over matrimony

~~<p>Hawaii is on the brink of becoming the 16th state to legalize same-sex marriage, but only after dealing with the contentious issue for more than 20 years -- longer than any other state in the country.</p>
<p>The House of Representatives approved same-sex marriage legislation on Friday. The state Senate is expected to adopt the House bill on Tuesday, which would send the measure to Gov. Neil Abercrombie for his signature.</p>
