Guard held in alleged smuggling

The Halawa employee is the second worker this month accused of bringing in contraband

~~<p>A 45-year-old prison guard was charged Sunday after he allegedly smuggled cigarettes, drug paraphernalia and narcotics such as meth&shy;am&shy;pheta&shy;mine and cocaine into Halawa Correctional Facility last year in return for money.</p>
<p>Honolulu FBI agents and state deputy sheriffs arrested Wahiawa resident Marc Damas, an adult corrections officer, around 11 a.m. Sunday at the Halawa facility, said FBI Special Agent Tom Simon.</p>
