High Roller shows riders the sights till 2 a.m. daily

At 550 feet the main attraction at the new Linq restaurant and bar district is the tallest observation wheel in the world, five feet higher than the Singapore Flyer. The wheel has 28 cabins, called &quot;pods,&quot; that hold up to 40 passengers each, and the ride is one 30-minute revolution, yielding spectacular views of the Las Vegas valley. Tickets are $24.95 per person until 6 p.m., then $34.95 until the wheel closes at 2 a.m. Various &quot;express&quot; (skip the line) and &quot;flex&quot; passes and upgrades are also available. Caesars Entertainment says it anticipates between 4 million and 5 million riders in the wheel's first year of operation.</p>
<p><strong>LiFE at SLS</strong>: SLS Las Vegas will debut with a new nightclub called LiFE. While full details weren't disclosed, it was described as a &quot;20,000-square-foot immersive experience featuring a rooftop pool.&quot; SLS is opening in August in the spot on the north Strip where the Sahara stood.</p>
