The attorney for the Democratic Party of Hawaii is seeking to overturn Hawaii's open primary election

~~<p>Tony Gill is a second-generation labor attorney and former Democratic Party of Hawaii official who believes that only people who publicly support the Democratic Party of Hawaii should be able to pick its candidates.</p>
<p>That's not what happens with open primaries such as we have in Hawaii, he said earlier this week, so he's been part of a legal effort on behalf of the Democratic Party of Hawaii to challenge that.</p>
