Big Island man convicted in shootings of 2 officers

~~<p><span style="font-size: 12px;">A 32-year-old Hilo man, who led police on a chase in January 2013 after shooting two officers, faces life without the possibility of parole when he is sentenced June 20.</span></p>
<p>A Hilo Circuit Court jury found Keaka Martin guilty Thursday of first-degree attempted murder in the shooting of Officer Joshua Gouveia, and first-degree assault for shooting Officer Garrett Hatada, as well as several firearms charges.</p>
