~~<p>On average, the University of Hawaii has self-reported suspected violations of NCAA rules to the association once a month since January 2012, according to school records.</p>
<p>Most were judged to be minor, incidental or technical violations of the bylaws contained in the NCAA's 417-page Division I Manual, according to information obtained by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser under the state's open records law.</p>
