Event commemorates start of Korean War 64 years ago

~~<p>A ceremony marking the 64th Korean War Commemoration was held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on Wednesday. The Korean War broke out on June 25, 1950, and lasted three years, ending in an armistice on July 27, 1953. More than 1.5 million people lost their lives, and 3.6 million people were wounded. Among them were 36,516 American deaths and 92,134 wounded, as well as 8,176 MIAs and 7,245 POWs.</p>
