'The Admiral' and 'Kundo' help Korea's movie slump

~~<p>Korean cinema is getting a boost late in the summer with &quot;The Admiral: Roaring Currents&quot; hitting more than 10 million tickets sold in the shortest time among all Korean films and &quot;Kundo: Age of the Rampant,&quot; a Joseon-period Robin Hood story, nearing the 5-million-ticket mark making it the third best film of the year.</p>
<p>Earlier this year &quot;Miss Granny&quot; was the top film of the year with 8.6 million tickets sold along with &quot;The Fatal Encounter&quot; with nearly 4 million tickets sold. There was a lull in the industry until late July when &quot;The Admiral&quot; debuted. &quot;Kundo: Age of the Rampant&quot; will come to Hawaii on Aug. 29.</p>
