Sunset Jazz gala to celebrate La Pietra's 50th anniversary

~~<p>La Pietra &mdash; Hawaii School for Girls will mark its 50th anniversary with a Sunset Jazz gala Sept. 14 on the Great Lawn on the slopes of Diamond Head. The campus' entertainment beacon, singer and teacher <strong>Shari Lynn</strong> has assembled some first-rate talent &mdash; <strong>Jimmy Borges</strong>, <strong>PBS Big Band</strong>, <strong>Piranha Brothers</strong> &mdash; for an evening of song and supper on the historic site.</p>
<p>Doors open at 5 p.m., with the concert at 5:30 p.m.</p>
