53 By The Sea has established itself as the defacto black-tie New Year’s Eve destination with extravagant themes to match. This year, the restaurant plans to ring in 2018 with “Monte Carlo Casino Night.”
Located on the Kaka`ako waterfront, 53 By The Sea is the perfect backdrop for stepping out of the laidback, casual Honolulu lifestyle and into another world. This year’s event is an ode to the glamorous, high-roller lifestyle of Monte Carlo as featured in James Bond films. The evening will feature theme-appropriate trappings, complimentary champagne toast and a balloon drop at midnight. Reminiscent of a scene in a Bond movie, the bar at 53 By The Sea becomes the perfect martini bar, the terrace transforms into a cigar lounge and the main dining room features casino favorites including Black Jack, Craps, and Roulette. The terrace lanai offers fantastic views of the Waikiki firework shows amid live musical entertainment by H2O.
General admission ($150 per person, $250 per couple – inclusive tax and gratuity) includes casino cash, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, drink/cigar tickets, midnight champagne toast and party favors. The casino cash can also be redeemed for raffle tickets.
VIP Private Rooms ($1,800 inclusive tax and gratuity) located on the second floor are perfect for larger groups seeking a place to host a memorable, classy party. With ten (10) general admission tickets, the rooms are sure to impress with a bottle of wine magnum bottle, a bottle of Champagne magnum bottle, personalized service, party favors and early entry from 8:00 PM. A special New Year’s Eve dinner in the private VIP rooms at $75 per person is also available upon request.
General admission tickets and VIP Private Rooms are available and extremely limited. This event is for adults 21 years and older. While the gala is Black Tie optional, guests are strongly encouraged to “dress to impress;” there will be a black tie restricted access area as well.
