PHILADELPHIA » The Philadelphia Phillies have placed center fielder Shane Victorino of Maui on the 15-day disabled list.

Victorino, a St. Anthony graduate, has an abdominal strain on his left side. He was injured diving back to first base during a pickoff attempt in Tuesday night's win over Arizona. He stayed in the game and left later after making a catch in the outfield. He was batting .250 with a career-high 15 homers.

Victorino could miss at least three weeks, the Phillies said.
