Corpuz second at Kids Golf

Waipahu's Allisen Corpuz remains in second in the Girls 12s after yesterday's second round of the U.S. Kids Golf's 11th annual World Championship, at Pinehurst, N.C.

Corpuz shot an even-par 72 and is tied for second at 141 with Megan Khang of Massachusetts. Florida's Sierra Brooks leads at 69--137.

Corpuz is looking for her fourth U.S. Kids title and Khang has finished in the top five the past three years.

Honolulu's Hana Furuichi has a share of eighth.

The World Championship ends today.
