» Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino (St. Anthony) was activated from the disabled list on Thursday and drew a walk as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning. Victorino went 4-for-6 in two rehab starts with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, hitting a triple and a home run.
» Catcher Esteban Lopez (Hawaii) was activated off the disabled list on Wednesday and played in his first game since May, going 0-for-1 for Triple-A Albuquerque.
» Single-A Tri-City pitcher Josh Slaats (Hawaii) still hasn't given up a run in his professional career. His scoreless innings streak reached 10 1/3 after striking out seven in three innings on Tuesday, allowing his first hit.

» Humboldt pitcher Jesse Moore got the win in the 2010 WCL Tri-State League championhip-clinching victory last Sunday. Moore entered the game with the bases loaded and two outs in the sixth inning and got out of the jam without allowing a run. He finished giving up one hit in 2 1/3 innings.
» Thunder Bay pitcher Connor Little pitched in back-to-back wins for the Border Cats on Wednesday and Thursday. Little was credited with the victory in Thursday's game, tossing four shutout innings of two-hit ball with no walks and three strikeouts.
