1. DROP
» Situation: Boise State 0, Hawaii 0, 14:20 remaining, first quarter, Hawaii ball, first and 10 at own 32
» The Play: A short pass from QB Bryant Moniz goes through the hands of SB Greg Salas.
» Impact: This play sets the tone for the game as Salas, one of the nation's most productive receivers, is held to two receptions for 10 yards.
» Salas: "They had a guy re-route me, and another guy on (deep coverage). It was very frustrating."

2. WILD BRONCO
» Situation: Boise State 0, Hawaii 0, 5:31 remaining, first quarter, Boise State ball, first and 10 at Hawaii 14
» The Play: RB Jeremy Avery scores a 14-yard touchdown on a fly sweep handoff from WR Chris Potter who takes the snap in the wildcat formation.
» Impact: Boise State scores on its second series after losing a fumble at the Hawaii 7 on its first possession. It is the first six of 42 unanswered points by Boise State.
» Boise State coach Chris Petersen: "We just happened to be hitting on all cylinders today, and I'm glad, because we need to do that to do what we want to do."

3. MOORE, MOORE, MOORE
» Situation: Boise State 6, Hawaii 0, 14:23 remaining, second quarter, Boise State ball, third and 6 at Hawaii 12
» The Play: QB Kellen Moore finds WR Tyler Shoemaker open in the middle of the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown.
» Impact: The touchdown caps a 14-play, 84-yard drive in which Moore completes all eight passes he throws. Moore plays just three quarters but, utilizing a no-huddle offense, completes 30 of 37 passes for 507 yards and three touchdowns. He is intercepted twice by S Mana Silva.
» Moore: "I love the quick tempo. You get completions. If you screw up you have about 5 or 6 seconds to think about it and you move on."

4. CHALLENGE DENIED
» Situation: Boise State 28, Hawaii 0, 9:07 remaining, third quarter, Hawaii ball, third and 12 at Hawaii 44
» The Play: Moniz throws to WR Rodney Bradley near the sideline, apparently for a first down. But S Jeron Johnson knocks the ball out of his hands. Hawaii challenges, but the play stands.
» Impact: Hawaii is again forced to punt and Boise State takes over at its 17. On the next play, Moore passes 83 yards to WR Titus Young for a touchdown.
» Hawaii coach Greg McMackin: "We didn't play third down well at all. They outplayed us in all phases."

5. SALVAGING PRIDE
» Situation: Boise State 42, Hawaii 0, 9:17 remaining, fourth quarter, Boise State ball, second and 5 at Hawaii 42
» The Play: RB Alex Green takes the ball on a draw play and goes 54 yards for his 12th rushing touchdown of the season.
» Impact: Green finishes with 107 rushing yards, but Hawaii is held to 151 passing and QB Bryant Moniz nets minus-44 yards after being sacked seven times.
» Green: "They did a really good job of containing us. The D-line played hard and got to the quarterback a lot. It was hard for us to make plays. We couldn't do what we usually do."
