Farrington keeps rolling

Brydgette Tatupu-Leopoldo poured in 24 points as the No. 7-ranked Farrington Governors defeated the Moanalua Menehune 60-50 in an OIA girls Red Division game at Farrington yesterday.

Joanna Nicolas sank four baskets from beyond the arc and scored a team-high 22 points for Moanalua. Shantaeus Ramos-Dias added 14 for the Menehune (1-4), who lost their fourth straight game.

Kirsten Liana had 16 points and Ashley Savusa 10 for Farrington (5-0).

Farrington, trailing 17-15 after the first quarter, outscored the Menehune 12-5 in the second quarter for a 27-22 halftime lead.

The Mules rallied with 16 points and held the Chargers to just one point in the fourth quarter to claim their third consecutive win.

Tiffany Reyher led Leilehua with 10 points. Sabrina Angle scored 13 points for Pearl City.

Chassie Ernst led the Sabers with 31 points in a lopsided victory over the Marauders.

The Bulldogs' Raydeen Kobayashi-Kajiwara had a game-high 11 points, hitting three 3-pointers.

Radford attempted 33 free throws in the game, sinking 12.
