Hawaii's Michelle Wie broke back into the top 10 of the Rolex World Golf Ranking this week, climbing three spots to No. 8 after her runner-up finish in the season-opening Honda LPGA Thailand.

Yani Tseng, who won in Thailand, is No. 1 for the second week.

Tseng has won all four events she has played this year, including a small tournament in Taiwan and the Australian Open and Australian Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour.

Cristie Kerr, at No. 5, is the top-ranked American, followed by Wie. There are four Koreans in the top 10, and 138 among the top 500.

With a top-three finish last week, Wie earned a place in the inaugural Titleholders event, which ends the season Nov. 17-20 in Florida.

The tour is in Singapore this week for the HSBC Women's Champions.

Its first domestic and full-field event is the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup, March 18-20 in Phoenix.

The tournament honors the 13 LPGA founders and does not offer prize money. Instead, $500,000 will go to LPGA-USGA Girls Golf and another $500,000 to the top 10 finishers' charities of choice.
