University of Hawaii running backs coach Chris Wiesehan is leaving the program to become the offensive line coach at Temple, he confirmed Monday.

He has been with the program two years, starting off as an offensive line coach for the Rainbow Warriors in 2012 and then shifting to running backs the following season after former NFL standout Chris Naeole was hired to coach the O-line in 2013. Wiesehan said the job at Temple was a good opportunity for his he and family. He appreciated the two seasons he coached here.

His last day will be Thursday. He was scheduled to run the NFL Pro Day in California on Thursday, but that now will be handled by UH head coach Norm Chow.
