UCLA, USC and Stanford received at-large bids into the NCAA Women’s Water Polo Championship Monday, with Hawaii left out.
The fifth-ranked Rainbow Wahine beat UCLA this year but finished sixth in last weekend’s Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament.
Cal won its first MPSF title, defeating UCLA, 7-6, in the championship to gain the automatic berth.
