Hawaii's Croson earns WAC weekly honor

Hawaii freshman outside hitter Jane Croson was named Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week today after helping the Rainbow Wahine to two wins over then-No. 21 Pepperdine last week.

On Friday, she had 11 kills and a career-high 19 digs for her fifth double-double of the season. On Saturday Croson posted a career-high 23 kills, the most this season by a Wahine, to go with 19 digs for her fifth career double-double. She also added three service aces. For the week, Croson averaged 4.13 kills, 4.25 digs and 0.38 service aces. 

Also today, Hawaii (10-1) remained at No. 11 in the AVCA Coaches Top 25. The top five remained unchanged, led by California. Stanford stayed at No. 2, followed by Illinois, Wasington and Penn State.

Pepperdine (6-5) moved up from No. 21 to No. 19.
