Brian Stuard shot his second consecutive 65 to take the second-round lead of the Sony Open in Hawaii with a two-day total of 10-under 130.

Stuard is one shot clear of Australia's Marc Leishman, who carded a 64, and Japan's Hideto Tanihara (65--131). Leishman's 6 under was the low round of the day matched by past Sony Open champion Paul Goydos and Hudson Swafford.

Harris English fired his second consecutive 66 for an 8-under 132 and is alone in fourth. Another six golfers are tied for fifth at 7-under 133, including world No. 2 Adam Scott (66) and first-round leader Sang-Moon Bae (70).

"I enjoy the layout," said Stuard, who has four consecutive 65s here and seven straight rounds in the 60s. "There's something about the greens I feel good about."

The scoring average was 69.381 in the second round with the cut coming at minus 1. There will be 79 golfers playing through to the weekend.

Tanihara began his round late in the afternoon and tied for second with a birdie at the closing hole just before dark.

Saturday's third round has been moved up two hours because of inclement weather expected in the area. The golfers will tee it up on both sides of the course, starting at 7:50 a.m. with hope of finishing the round by 3 p.m.

A weather report issued by the tour meteorologist Friday afternoon calls for "unsettled weather" Saturday and Sunday, with a 50 percent chance of rain Saturday and light winds from the southeast. There is also a chance of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms.

------

Correction: Saturday's tee times have been changed because of the threat of rain. An earlier version of this story said Sunday's tee times were being changed.
