Contract awarded to study UNLV stadium

CARSON CITY, Nev. >> A Texas consulting firm has been awarded a contract to study the feasibility of building a stadium on the UNLV campus.

The Board of Examiners on Tuesday approved the $325,000 contract with Conventions, Sports and Leisure International.

The firm will prepare a report by mid-September to the UNLV Campus Improvement Authority Board.

Bonds issued for improvements to the Thomas & Mack Center will be used to pay for the study.
