HPU adds 2 basketball transfers

Hawaii Pacific added two men's basketball players to its roster for 2011-12 — Fran Urli and Marko Cukic.

Urli is a 6-foot-7 transfer from the University of Albany. He redshirted due to injury last season and will enter his senior season with the Sea Warriors.

Two seasons ago, he averaged six points and three rebounds for the Great Danes. He also played two seasons at Panola College, a JC in Texas.

Cukic is a 6-9 transfer from the University of Nevada, He played in 53 games in two seasons with the Wolf Pack. As a freshman he averaged nine minutes, three points and two rebounds in 34 games.
