WIN SOME, LOSE SOME: Carissa Moore of Hawaii lost in Round 1 of the Nike U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, Calif., to Lakey Peterson of California, but bounced back in Round 2 to beat Felicity Palmateer of Australia. The event is the final stop on the 2011 ASP women's series.
