Maui added to women’s championship surfing tour
Maui’s Honolua Bay will host the final event of the Associatoin of Surfing Professionals Women’s World Championship Tour, the ASP said in a news release today.
Hawaii surfer Carissa Moore is defending her second world championship title on this year’s 10 event schedule, which begins next month in Australia.
The Maui Women’s Pro will be held Nov. 24 through Dec. 6.
The last time a women’s championship surfing event was held on Maui was in 2009.
