No. 12 Hawaii defeats UC Santa Barbara in 5
Emily Hartong put down 24 kills and Jade Vorster was in on nine blocks as No. 12 Hawaii rallied past UC Santa Barbara Saturday night 22-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 15-12 in a Big West volleyball match at Santa Barbara, Calif.
Nikki Taylor added 15 kills and Vorster 11 for the Rainbow Wahine (20-4, 9-3). The Gauchos (13-8, 8-2) were led by Katey Thompson’s 12 kills. Ali Barbeau added 11 for UCSB, which saw its eight-match winning streak snapped.
