Idaho running back Kama Bailey carried five times for 34 yards in a 16-14 loss to Hawaii on Oct. 29. On Saturday, he had a huge hand in a Vandals victory.

FOOTBALL

» UCLA junior safety Dalton Hilliard (Punahou '09) recorded nine tackles for the Bruins in a 29-28 upset of Arizona State on Saturday.

» Oregon defensive tackle Wade Keliikipi (Waianae '09) had 11⁄2 sacks and three total tackles for the Ducks in a 34-17 win over Washington on Saturday night.

» Utah defensive end Nai Fotu (Kahuku '07) recorded a sack for a 10-yard loss in a 34-21 win on Saturday over Arizona, which got a solo tackle from defensive end Lamar De Rego (Kamehameha '09).

» New Mexico State defensive end David Niumatalolo (Kahuku '05) and linebacker B.J. Adolpho (Kahuku '05) each had three tackles, and tight end Jackson KaKa (Kahuku '10) had a 4-yard reception in a 63-16 loss to Georgia on Saturday.

Idaho’s Bailey rushes for 163 yards, 2 TDs

Idaho running back Kama Bailey (Damien ’08) rushed for a career-high 163 yards and two touchdowns in a 32-29 win over San Jose State on Saturday. Bailey also had one catch for 11 yards for the Vandals, who bounced back a week after falling 16-14 to Hawaii at home. Linebacker Conrad Scheidt (Kamehameha ’09) had six tackles, including one for loss, and a pass breakup for Idaho.

» Weber State quarterback Mike Hoke (Kamehameha '08) completed 13 of 26 passes for 143 yards, finding receiver Shaydon Kehano (Castle '10) six times for 83 yards and sophomore Chase Nakamura (Baldwin '09) three times for 33 yards in a 44-24 loss to Montana State on Saturday.

» CSU-Pueblo junior linebacker Jason Campbell (Kamehameha '09) made two tackles for loss, and safety Josh Costa (Kamehameha '08) added two solo tackles in a 41-3 win over Western State.

» Cornell (Iowa) College linebacker Geoffrey Miller (Punahou '10) had a game-high 19 tackles, including a school-record-tying 14 solo stops, in a 37-7 loss to The Norse on Saturday. Miller recorded 16 of his tackles in the first half.

» Arizona Western linebacker Zachary Quines (Mililani '10) returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown in a 14-7 win over Snow College on Saturday.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

» Loyola Marymount seniors Erin Rementer (Punahou '07) and Brittney Sanford (Punahou '07) finished their college careers with a 0-0 tie against Seattle University on Saturday. Sanford led the Lions with five shots, while Rementer added one shot on goal.

» Santa Clara junior midfielder Meleana Shim (Kamehameha '09) attempted one of eight shots by the Broncos in a 3-0 loss to San Diego in the championship game of the West Coast Conference tournament on Friday. The Broncos will host California in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday.

» Utah State sophomore forward Mari Miyashiro (Mililani '10) played 58 minutes in the Aggies' 1-0 victory over Fresno State in the championship game of the Western Athletic Conference tournament on Sunday. The Aggies will play at Auburn on Saturday in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

» UCLA freshman Caprice Dydasco (Kamehameha '11) assisted on a goal in the 21st minute of the Bruins' 5-2 win over Southern California on Friday. The Bruins will host New Mexico in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday.

» UNLV sophomore Courtney Botelho (Kamehameha '10) attempted a shot on goal in a 1-0 loss to New Mexico on Friday in the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference tournament, ending the Rebels' season.

» Harvard midfielder Aisha Price (Punahou '09), who has scored a goal and assisted on two others, has played in every game this season for the Crimson, who won their third Ivy League championship in four years on Saturday and will play at Boston University in the opening round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday.

» Pacific (Calif.) freshman Liz Higashino (Kamehameha-Maui '11) scored a goal in the 64th minute of a 4-2 loss to Long Beach State on Oct. 30, ending the Tigers' season.

» Occidental (Calif.) sophomore Elisa Minamishin (‘Iolani '10) scored her 12th goal of the season in the 20th minute of a 2-1 overtime loss to Cal Lutheran on Oct. 29, ending the Tigers' season. Minamishin took two shots and teammate Kellee Murayama (‘Iolani '08) attempted a shot on goal.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

» Arizona State freshman setter Shannan McCready (Punahou '11) posted a match-high 38 assists, six digs, three block assists and two kills in a three-set sweep of Oregon State on Saturday. Beavers outside hitter Dre Shaw (Kamehameha-Maui '08) hit .321 with a team-high 12 kills, 11 digs and an ace.

» Cal State Northridge sophomore Mahina Haina (‘Iolani '10) had a match-high 15 kills, hitting .379 with three digs in a three-set sweep of UC Davis on Friday.

» Hofstra junior Kylee Maneja (Sacred Hearts '09) posted a match-high 18 digs and an ace, and freshman Kainoa Ocasek (University '11) had four digs and two aces in a three-set loss to Towson University on Saturday. Maneja, who leads the team with 506 digs this season, is sixth all-time with 1,471 digs, and is 18 away from sole possession of fourth place.

» Fairfield (Conn.) senior outside hitter Haililani Pokipala (Sacred Hearts '08) notched her 1,000th career dig in her final home match last Wednesday. Pokipala had seven kills, two assists, 13 digs and a block assist, and Carsen Mata (Moanalua '10) had seven digs and a kill for the Stags in a three-set win over Marist.

» Pacific (Ore.) senior Kelsy Takashima (Molokai '08) was named the Northwest Conference student-athlete of the week on Tuesday, ending her Boxers career with a combined 35 kills and .370 hitting percentage in matches against WIllamette (Ore.) and Pacific Lutheran. Takashima had 13 kills, four aces and three blocks in a win over the Bearcats, giving Pacific its first winning season since 2007. Her .323 hitting percentage is the best single-season mark in Pacific history and she ranked first in the NWC in aces per set (0.56), second in hitting percentage and kills (326) and sixth in blocks (82).

» Linfield (Ore.) senior Samantha Lau (Saint Francis '08) had a team-high 23 digs, six aces and four assists, and freshman Kailana Ritte-Camara (Molokai '11) added 14 kills, seven digs, two assists and two aces in a five-set win over George Fox on Saturday. Leimomi Hookano (Sacred Hearts '11) added nine kills, eight digs and an ace for the Wildcats, while sophomore Chelsea Wilson (Campbell '10) posted a double-double with 17 assists and 14 digs for the Bruins. Lau broke her own single-season school record for digs in a season, finishing with 582. Her 1,881 digs for her career is 600 more than the next-best Wildcat.

» Washington (Mo.) junior libero Kelly Pang (‘Iolani '09) was named the Division III national player of the week Tuesday. Pang averaged more than five digs per set with just two return errors in three victories, including upset wins over Carnegie Mellon and Emory University to win the University Athletic Association championship. Pang had 30 digs and two aces in the title game and finished second in the conference with 498 digs. The Bears will host Webster University in the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional on Friday.

» Concordia (Ore.) senior Skyler Kamaka (Kamehameha '08) had six kills, two digs, two block assists and an ace in her final home match — a three-set victory over Warner Pacific on Friday.

» Texas Pan-American junior Juri Franzen (McKinley '09) finished with a match-high 35 digs and an ace in a five-set loss to Chicago State on Saturday, the regular-season home finale for the Broncs.

WOMEN'S GOLF

» Santa Clara senior Tammy Surtees (Hawaii Prep '08) shot rounds of 83 and 76 to finish 13 over in a tie for 14th place at the Lamkin Grip Cal Poly Invitational on Tuesday in Arroyo Grande, Calif.
