Woman hurt in fight between fans outside AT&T Park

SAN FRANCISCO >> San Francisco police say a woman trying to break up a fight following a game at AT&T Park was hospitalized after being knocked unconscious.

KPIX-TV reports the confrontation happened Thursday outside the stadium after the Giants lost to the Oakland A’s.

Police say the woman, who was wearing an A’s cap, was punched in the face and fell, hitting her head on the sidewalk.

She was unresponsive when an ambulance took her to the hospital, and her condition was unknown.

Authorities say she was intervening in a fight between two men when she was struck.

Police are searching for suspects. No arrests have been made.

Thursday’s fight came a day after a jury awarded damages to Bryan Stow, a Giants fan who was severely beaten by two men at Dodger Stadium.
