2010 Tasini Form

In the light of the ruling in 2001 by the U.S. Supreme Court in the New York Times vs. Tasini case, we need to confirm with all our freelance contributors that we can include your articles and photos in the online edition of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. Until we get your confirmation, we will have to exclude your work from staradvertiser.com.

We would like to have the option of including all local stories and pictures from the print edition online. A good online edition builds readership and interest in the newspaper and a healthy newspaper can continue to purchase your work.

Please confirm by signing the downloadable form and returning it to me that you agree to the Star-Advertiser’s including the material we buy from you in its online edition, staradvertiser.com. Further, you agree that, until you give us written notice to the contrary, the Star-Advertiser’s purchase of your material includes both print and online publication rights.

Thank you.
