The Medical Examiner’s office is trying to determine the identity of a 75-year-old man who died when he fell from the Meheula Parkway overpass near Mililani Thursday night onto the H-2 freeway.

The death is classified as an unattended death until the results of an autopsy are completed.

Police closed northbound lanes of the H-2 freeway at the overpass around 6 p.m. Thursday. One lane was reopened an hour later and all lanes were reopened by 8:30 p.m.

Traffic was diverted to the Mililani Mauka and Mililani Town offramps.
