Due to rainy weather, there will be no easbound H-1 lane or ramp closures Sunday evening, according to the state Department of Transportation.

In addition, westbound lanes and ramps will reopen at midnight.

Two westbound lanes will be closed and shifting lane closures will be in effect for westbound traffic between 9 p.m. and midnight.

Ramp and lane closures between Middle Street and Ward Avenue, scheduled for Sunday evening to Friday morning each week, are part of the DOT’s year-long H-1 Freeway Rehabilitation Project.

Construction during the project will replace the freeway asphalt, provide an additional lane in each direction, install upgraded lighting, improve drainage, and install glare screens along the median.
