Liliha Street reopened after water main break
Honolulu police reopened Liliha Street in both directions between Judd and Bates Street as crews completed repairs on a water main break this morning.
The road reopened by about 6 a.m.
The break in a 12-inch main was reported at about 2:30 p.m.
Crews worked to repair the pipe and the road overnight.
Water service was restored at about 10 a.m.
Police closed mauka-bound lanes of the road and a makai-bound lane. One makai-bound lane remained open and another lane remained open at abou 9:30 p.m.
