Work continues on Ala Moana Blvd. water main break

Two lanes of Ala Moana Blvd. remained closed Tuesday morning as crews continue work to repair the road and a 6-inch pipe and valve.
Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews completed repairs on a broken 6-inch water main at 5 a.m.
However, a valve burst as the water was being turned on and crews are continuing to work through the morning to fix the problem.
About 7 customers are without water.
Two westbound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard at Ena Road are closed.
Police said the lanes were closed about 4:20 p.m. Monday.
The break occurred in front of the Wailana Coffee House, police said.
