Prince Resorts Hawaii offers specials

Prince Resorts Hawaii is offering special room rates as part of its "Fall Into Winter" promotion.

The specials include:

» Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki. Rates start at $179 per night for an Oceanfront Vista room with a $50 daily resort credit.

» Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. Rates start at $239 per night for an ocean-view room with a $50 daily resort credit.

» Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Rates start at $409 per night for a Mountainview category room with a $100 daily resort credit.

Resort credits can be applied to a wide range of amenities offered at each property, including dining, golf, tennis, massages and more.

Hotel Wailea shows off renovations

Wailea, Maui » Hotel Wailea, an all-suite hotel overlooking Wailea Beach, recently opened a renovated pool bar and new gym and spa. It also announced new weekly music and dining events and a special "diva package" for women only.

» The opening of the pool bar: The newly renovated pool bar/lounge is now offering beer and wine, along with a specially crafted menu from the hotel's award-winning restaurant Capische. Highlights include Hawaiian Pizza with Prosciutto d'Parma and Grilled Sicilian Spice Ahi Sandwich.

» New gym and spa: The new gym offers panoramic views of the ocean, plus free yoga classes. Services such as the Pohaku facial (facial massage using warmed Hawaiian stones) and the Lomi Lomi massage (traditional Hawaiian massage using long forearm strokes) are offered at the renovated spa facility.

» "The Weekend Lounge" on Fridays and Saturdays: 5-8 p.m., featuring organic martinis and live music and deejays.

» "In-Room Picnic" menu: Guests can feast on a casual meal in the privacy of their suite, in the gardens or on the beach with "to go"-style picnic meals. Items include pizza, pasta and salads. Lunch from noon to 4 p.m., dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

» "Maui Ocean Divas Package": The hotel says this deal was created for adventurous women. The package can include kiteboard and stand-up paddleboard lessons, private yoga instruction, facials and pedicures. Runs through November. Prices start at $1,899 per person.
