The Search for Signs of Hawaiian Life

For Sunday, December 23, 2012

POSTED:

Amid the boutiques that line Carnaby Street in Central London, Heidi and Robert Hong of Honolulu discovered a familiar Kua 'Aina restaurant. "It was so unexpected," said Heidi, who snapped a photo of Robert out front. Carnaby Street was the epicenter of 1960s Swinging London and the "mod" fashion movement. Today the street is for pedestrians only but still home to many independent fashion houses.
