A 21-year-old man who died after he apparently fell off a mountain was identified as Daniel N. Escuadro of Waianae, according to the Department of the Medical Examiner.

Escuadro died of multiple internal injuries due to the fall. The manner of death was classified as undetermined.

The Honolulu Fire Department’s Air One helicopter recovered his body Wednesday afternoon at approximately 400 to 600 feet on the mountain ridge in Nanakuli.

Escuadro had been reported missing. Police said there were no obvious signs of foul play.
