A pedestrian in her 70s was struck by a truck this evening in Waipahu.
She was taken by ambulance in critical condition to a trauma center, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the Emergency Services Department.
The incident occurred at about 6:05 p.m. at Paiwa and Hiapo streets.
