Police are awaiting autopsy results in an investigation of the death of a 5-month-old boy early this morning.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the baby as Lawrence L. Dennis of Makiki.
The infant was found unconscious about 2:55 a.m. in his crib in Makiki by his care provider.
Police said 911 was called immediately, and an ambulance transported the boy to an area hospital where efforts to revive him failed.
