ANA adds Haneda-Honolulu flight
All Nippon Airways, Japan’s second-largest airline, will initiate a daily flight between Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport and Honolulu beginning Oct. 31 among five new destinations it is adding from the expanded facility.
The carrier also is adding flights to Los Angeles; Singapore; Bangkok, Thailand; and Taipei, Taiwan. Haneda is opening a fourth runway that will allow the airport, which primarily has been used for domestic flights, to resume international operations.
ANA will use a Boeing 767-300 ER for the flight to Honolulu. The flight will depart Haneda at 12:30 a.m. and arrive in Honolulu the preceding day due to the 19-hour time difference. The return flight will leave Honolulu at 6:15 p.m. and arrive in Haneda the following day at 10:30 p.m. the next day.
