Police arrested a 22-year-old man yesterday in connection with the attempted burglary of the Kokua Market in Moiliili on Friday.

The would-be thief was caught on video breaking into the market through the roof, his feet dangling into the frame of the video from a skylight dome as he tried to find a safe place to land.

But the thief set off an alarm and is seen running through the store trying to find a way out. At one point, he through an object through the glass front door to try and break out.

Police issued a CrimeStoppers bulletin which featured a fairly clear image of the burglar.

The man was released pending further investigation by detectives.
