» Kuakini Health System received $5,000 from Friends of Hawaii Charities Inc. for its year-round "Healthful Lifestyle Promotions" community program. Kuakini provides free educational materials and health screenings at several major community events, including the Great Aloha Run’s Sports, Health and Fitness Expo, the First Hawaiian Bank Primetime Wellness Fair, and Kuakini’s annual open house for students.
