A 26-year-old man who accused his 26-year-old girlfriend of cheating on him was arrested for investigation of abuse and criminal property damage yesterday when he allegedly threatened her and then returned to break in her bathroom door, police said.
The man confronted his girlfriend at her Waipahu home at 5:30 a.m. yesterday and allegedly assaulted her, police said.
The woman fled. She later went back home and entered her shower when the boyfriend confronted her again at 11:40 a.m., police said.
The boyfriend allegedly broke the shower door, injuring the woman, police said.
The man was arrested at the scene.
